The sweet dish reinvented

I promise I didn’t do it on purpose, Mummy!

Our little blonde darling has just knocked the sweet dish lid onto the kitchen floor. All that remains on the table is a crystal dish, almost empty of its sweets, but intact, so still useable…

Even if this item is above all a receptacle made of a precious material, Cristal d’Arques Paris suggests you rethink the object’s intended purpose (holding sweets or biscuits).

Petite Fille

To help, the brand takes inspiration from the way in which the surviving dish is decorated (Carrousel’s friezes and fluting, for example), but also from the glamorous, decidedly feminine mood conjured up by the majority of its collections. Why not place the item in new surroundings?

Bonbonnière Carrousel

The Carrousel Colllection

The dish could perhaps be displayed in a bathroom or on a dressing table, near a mirror where it would intensify and multiply the play of light…

A few beauty products would then of course replace sweets and pastries.

The idea would be to assemble in one dish your everyday beauty essentials (foundation, mascara, powder, blusher, eye shadow, etc.) so as to have them all within arm’s reach, and one (made-up) eye to the boudoir fashion…
