Of course, the business of wooing your loved one, declaring your feelings and showering them with affection has traditionally fallen to the man. In these modern times, however, in a society that has given women their independence, we should always think in terms of equality. Time for the gent to rejoice: it’s his sweetheart’s turn to overwhelm him with gifts!
Although a decidedly feminine brand, Cristal d’Arques Paris is ahead of the game and has expanded its men’s ranges, putting the finishing touches to these collections.
Ties and cufflinks no longer really had the monopoly on present lists, and it was time to think up and create some new items especially for men. Among these are sets of glasses for ‘men only’ get-togethers, lively debates and special occasions.
Women can choose to present them with glasses from the Facettes range, for alcoholic drinks, fruit juices and any combination of the two, and from the Dampierre collection, pleasingly traditional in design.
Alternatively there’s Cubic, its design less classical and more funky, subtly decorated with the small squares that symbolise the male gender.
